Atomic Habits by James Clear is a very popular book, and for good reason. Great book overall which will give you key tools for forming habits that will improve and develop your life.
I’ve read this book 3 times and every time I learn something different and new.
I find the best way to do this is small consistent steps, rather than trying to make huge changes all at once. This book is the perfect guide.
But I’ve also read The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg and this is a very easy book to read with lots of information backing up his ideas. I’m not sure I could choose between the two books as they are very differently written but both offer so much simple tricks to get going.
Changing habits doesn’t have to be just about work or career. These books provide great tools for decluttering your home, budgeting, learning new skills, working towards a fitness goal and so much more. And I’ve listed these examples because I have personally achieved these through small consistent habits.
I really do recommend both these books especially if you are interested in making small changes for big results – consider reading one, or both, of these.
