This blog post is about patience and trust 🙂
When home prescribing, make sure you do a thorough analysis of the most important symptoms presenting in your case. This can be difficult at times but what you are looking for is what is actually different to the ‘norm’ in the person you are prescribing for.
For example – if home prescribing for a sore ear, you might take the symptoms – pain left ear / pain throbbing / high temperature / inflammation inside ear. These are striking symptoms that relate to the acute ailment. But you should also include other differences to this person’s ‘norm’. Example – person is normally thirsty, but are now thirstless (thirstless just became one of your striking symptoms). Person is normally very active but is not listless (listless is your symptom).
If you’re sure you’ve made a good choice of remedy for your acute complaint then stick with it. Don’t rush to change after a couple of doses, or hours. Give the remedies a chance to get the energy shifting.
I’ve heard comments that remedies aren’t holding this year so they’re looking for the next one, and the next one. But are you giving them enough time? We live in a fast response world now with technology, but a little patience is sometimes needed. We can’t expect the same rapid response with everything. Trust in your choice – Trust in homeopathy – Trust your instinct
